A new Star is born! Nhivuru! Yes,”Nhivuru je’ ..! “ – Nivhuru means black in Sicilian, like lava stone, pure and crystallized energy, like the volcano Etna. The background is Sicily, the island where the energy of the Volcano meets the energy and power of the sea, the Mediterranean Sea!

An Island, Sicily, where is depicted a visionary city of the Future: “ITS CITIZENS USUALLY TRAVEL BY HOT-AIR BALLOONS AROUND THE WORLD… LISTENING TO WORDS, SONGS, DIALECTS, SOUNDS…. BREATHING SCENTS…. FEELING LOVE, SHARING MOODS, JOY, FIGHTING FOR THEIR PASSIONS AND DREAMS.”

NHIVURU is a new captivating and exclusive brand, launched starting form this S.S.2012 with a “NUM.0” collection of t-shirt and sweats of great personality and very recognizable for its style.

The world of NHIVURU rises from a visionary as well as contemporary idea of a idealistic place that has not come to existence yet.

A futuristic island in the middle of Mediterranean, in which its buildings recall the Berlin TV Tower, but even a very unlikely SKULL building with texture inspired by design which takes our mind to the popular tradition of sicilian string-puppets with their ancient scenes of war between French knights and Ottoman warriors.

The collection gives birth to a new style called “Sicilian Preppy”.

The mood of the collection varies, from “PoP” designs: fresh, joyful, vibrant and full of energy, in which some Sicilian cultural icons have been reinterpreted with a street-chic touch and a delightful lettering which brings to mind baroque details, to  “Pulp & Rock” designs, such as MALHACARNHE t-shirt inspired by a street culture and cosmopolitan concept.

T-shirt are made of ”organic cotton” in line with tha brand policy which strives to find ecofriendly materials.

Common element of the whole collection are: the “back patch” made of white damask fabric, folded and sewed on the back of each piece and the inside label  purposely   misdemeanor and frayed .

Both elements that give personality to the  product and that aim to become distinctive elements of recognizability of the brand itself.
